Custom, inclusive, and lovingly crafted right here in Elk Grove, Batter Up Bakery officially opened its doors in 2023. Inspired by my childhood days on the softball field and a lifelong love of baking, the name felt like a perfect fit. Our first big moment came at an event with Elk Grove Youth Baseball — and it was a sell-out success! From that day forward, we’ve been rising to every occasion, one delicious treat at a time.

Lexie’s Why
Baking became my passion at 16, but it was my mom who believed in me enough to push me to get licensed and start my own bakery. From home-kitchen experiments to a legit business — she’s the reason this exists. My two boys are why I do what I do. It’s all for them! You’re not just supporting local or small business, you’re helping a mama be able to provide for her babies!

I’m Elk Grove through and through — born and raised right here, and a proud graduate of Elk Grove High School. My roots in this community run deep. My grandparents are the owners of Mahon Ranch, a place that represents tradition, hard work, and family — values I carry into everything I bake. Elk Grove is more than just where I live — it’s where I’m building my dreams. I’ve watched this community grow, evolve, and thrive, and it’s been such a joy to be part of that journey. Batter Up Bakery is my way of giving back — one sweet treat at a time.
